Old Goa is a fascinating trip into history and a chance to see Christian-Indian spirituality. Notably the Basilica do Bom Jesus where the remains of Saint Francis Xavier are kept.  This church dates back to 1605 when Portuguese Bishops laid the first stones. The Bascilica remains in excellent condition and is one of the oldest Christian Churches in India.

You can visit the tomb of St. Francis Xavier inside the Church and there are many pilgrims to join you.
